HARMONY IN BLOOM - PLANT, PAINT & COFFEE Event celebrated Nature.
Dubai: Global warming presents a daunting challenge that demands urgent action, and one of the most effective ways to combat its devastating effects is by working hand in hand with nature through planting activities. Moreover, planting activities offer a powerful opportunity to engage communities, foster environmental stewardship, and empower individuals to take tangible steps towards a more sustainable future.
In a world grappling with the urgent challenge of global warming, harnessing the power of nature through planting initiatives emerges as a crucial strategy. By fostering a deeper connection with the earth and embracing sustainable practices, we can mitigate the impacts of climate change and pave the way for a greener, more resilient future. So we decided to emphasize the crucial role for artists to play in improving our planet’s health and stability through a paint and plant live event. An event supported by The UN Environment Programme, Ecosystem Restoration, with National Geographic, and RAK Nature Treasures, Art4you Gallery through Coffee Art Marathon decided to indulge in a harmonious fusion of creativity and botanical beauty.
Throughout this event, Art4you explored the multifaceted benefits of plants, discovered how to plant a tree, and discussed ideas to inspire to work with nature. Titled the event - "HARMONY IN BLOOM! , this art event was celebrated on 16th Feb 2024 at The Green Revolution Dubai, a place sustainability meets nature. In collaboration and support from The Green revolution Founder - Bhumika Maniya , who is committed to social and environmental activities, Art4you planned an activity " wooden coaster painting" with artists.
Set against a backdrop of lush foliage and vibrant blooms at The Green Revolution Dubai, this unique event celebrates the harmony between nature and creativity, with a delightful twist inspired by coffee theme. Interactive Views from the corporate sustainability partner and venue – The Green Revolution, all can engage in interactive showcase of plants and know more on eco-friendly practices to nurture your indoor oasis and promote sustainability. It was a day filled with planting, coaster painting workshop and coffee-inspired creations with planters, we explored the boundless possibilities of artistic expression amidst the soothing ambiance of our botanical sanctuary. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur, an aspiring artist, or simply seeking a moment of tranquillity amidst nature's embrace, our "Harmony in Bloom" event promised to awaken the senses and ignite the passion for both art and the natural world.”, says Curator Jesno Jackson.
As we work with nature to restore balance to our planet, each plant becomes a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of global warming, reminding us of the transformative power of collective action and the profound interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. Plants restore degraded ecosystems, and implementing sustainable land management practices. By sharing gardening anecdotes, and exchanging painting tips and forging new friendship, we Art4you and The Green Revolution welcomed all creatives to this community event. Attendees discovered the therapeutic joys of plants with the expert sustainability mentor, Bhumika Maniyar. She guided us through the process of planting the green companions.
15 artists joined us in this vital mission as we work hand in hand with nature to safeguard our planet for generations to come. Together, let us plant the seeds of change and cultivate a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. H. E Laila Rahhall officially inaugurated the event which was graced by the presence of eminent personalities Mr. Tariq Al Salman – Founder RAK Nature Treasures, Mr. Ali Alzakary – Founder Qahwa World & Ms. Rana Alzakary – Editor Qahwa World. Jesno & Bhumika also expressed their gratitude to the Coffee Brand Support Partner Gostoso Coffee and media partner DXB24Live, Apurbo for supporting this sustainability event.

- Networking: Enjoyed the serene ambiance of the boutique and connected with fellow nature enthusiasts and art lovers. Shared gardening anecdotes exchange painting tips and forged new friendships in our welcoming community.
